Preliminary & Final Judicial Reports

Foreclosure actions in Ohio must be accompanied by Judicial Reports. With our knowledge of the varying county-by-county rules and requirements that dictate the format and structure of the reports, Title Professionals Group has processes in place to ensure your filings comply. We have experience providing Preliminary, Supplemental, and Final Reports for counties and foreclosure attorneys representing homeowner’s associations, banks, and tax lien buyers.

Different reports required throughout the foreclosure process

Preliminary Judicial Reports:

  • Preliminary reports are those filed at the time of the foreclosure complaint for the use and benefit of both the guaranteed party (usually the plaintiff), and the purchaser at the judicial sale. The report must reflect the name of the record owner, a legal description of the land, and a listing of all interests in the property that appear of record.

Updated or Supplemental Reports:

  • Filed at any point during the foreclosure, these reports update the court on changes made to the property since the date of the Preliminary Judicial Report.

Final Judicial Report:

  • Shows the final status of the property prior to the court’s judgement and the foreclosure sale. Final Judicial Reports are filed with the Plaintiff’s dispositive motion. We provide a turnaround time of 48 hours, with reports delivered electronically and original hard copies sent out the same day.
